Jordi Pujolar, Mataró

Multimedia journalist at the Catalan Information Agency since 2005 and also, since 2010, in charge of the metropolitan zone of Barcelona’s surroundings. During the years of the Catalan independence process, he covered the National Days on September 11 as well as the various elections at the Catalan Parliament. In autumn 2017, during the months of heaviest police and political pressure, he snapped vital moments such as the searches by the Spanish Police and the Guardia civil in search of ballot boxes and ballots, the day of the referendum on October 1, and the strikes of October 3 and November 8.

The CDR (Committees for the Defense of the Catalan Republic) cut the Maresme Highway (C-32) near Mataró during the strike of November 8, in order to demand the liberation of the political prisoners – (Jordi Pujolar - Catalan Information Agency ACN)
